(964) 1833 - 1857 - Orchard Record - Property Inventory for Net Worth -Condition: Good Interesting Booklet for multiple uses throughout the year. Original Hand written title states it was for a Boat (record) in 1833. On the back cover it states it belonged to the Ensign which is crossed out. Written under that it states it is a record of what was planted in the orchard. It seems that he had little luck with the trees, as he marked most of them as dying. If you open the booklet from the back, you will see several pages of records of tree plantings each year from the early 1840's to the early 1850's. If you open the booklet from the front, there are several pages of a Property Inventory with values. Inventory includes such interesting things as Carriage, Bee Hives, Wine, and much more. Evidently this booklet was much used through a couple of decades! There are age spots on inside pages...but the booklet is tight. It measures 4" by 6" and is bound by thread. The outside covers feel very soft, as if there was linen in the paper. SOLD !!!
