" July 20, 1916 - W. L. Ward & Sons - Grocers - Selma, Alabama."

(1436) July 20, 1916 - W. L. Ward & Sons - Grocers - Selma, Alabama. Condition: Very Good Billhead measures 8" by 7" and has been folded. Has a nice vignette of the Building. Typed letter was sent to Mr. J.F. Suttle in Felix, Alabama, and thanks him for his check on account. Then goes on to say they can ill afford to carry his account and want another check to cover the statement. Interesting Note: J. F. Suttle was part of a Chain Letter that was sent to Felix, Alabama people in 1922. The letter seems to have stopped with his name. The letter started with an American Officer and hoped to circle the world three times. Mr. Suttle was part of the Suttle & Jones Co. in Felix. Price: $6.00 + shipping
