(1167) November 10, 1879 - Circular - Stearns, King & Co. - Condition: Very Good This circular was distributed by Stearns, King & Co. (Real Estate Brokers and Abstractors) from Hampton, Iowa. It is one page long and discusses an article which appeared in the Franklin County Recorder on May 28, 1879. Evidently there was some controversy over a tax issue that Stearns, King & Co. felt they had to explain. Reduction of taxes for a few of the largest tax-payers was part of the issue. They finish the page by trying to assure there loyalty to their customers. The page has one small tear on the right side at the fold. It has been folded to fit an envelope.
