(1025) December 3, 1943 - Personal Handwritten Letter - From Cpl. Cameron - At Camp Pickett, Virginia.- Condition: Very Good Letter comes with original envelope. A second letter sent to Mr. Lloyd Brown. This letter has the US Army Symbol as the letterhead. It is filled with camp life, personal information, and thanks him for the cookies sent! Cpl. Cameron felt that Camp Pickett is a "dead" place and did not have as much action as the previous assignment "The Gap". Mentions practicing small arms firing and basic amphibian training. In a week group was going to Camp Bradford. One interesting comment was about another man Harry. He said that "Harry is living the life of Reilly .... but he still hasn't started anything under the apron!" It is one page, completely filled on front and back with some wonderful information. A great insight into camp life during WWII. SOLD!!!!
