Picture (1024) October 12, 1943 - Personal Handwritten Letter - From Pvt. Wyatt - At Camp Pickett, Virginia.- Condition: Very Good Letter comes with original envelope. Pvt. Wyatt had a great sense of humor and added on the back of the envelope "If not delivered in 10 days try like h... to deliver in the future sometime." The letter mentions his demotion and the circumstances leading up to it. Also mentions many other men in the company and what has happened to them. Says he likes the mountains after spending 5 months in the desert. This company was training in different terrains and circumstances before shipping overseas to the war. Says the woman situation and the food is the same. Evidently Lloyd Brown who received the letter was once part of this company. It is one page, completely filled on front and back with some wonderful information. A great insight into camp life during WWII. **SOLD!!**
