(1005) Walt Disney World - 1972 - Poster/Map - First One Issued for Walt Disney World- Condition: Very Good. This Colorful Map that folds out to 27" by 25". When unfolded this Poster/Map shows with colorful illustrations the entire Magic Kingdom as it was the First year in 1972! It is made of very thick paper. The Bottom of the Map lists all of the rides and special shows that existed at that time. There is writing on the bottom...Many of the rides have the letters (A through E) that designated the level of the Ride. (Written in Pen) The first ticket books contained a set number of E Ride Tickets (the Best), and then all of the the other letters also. Another Interesting note: To demonstrate inflation...the price of the ticket books (which included admission) was written in pen on the bottom. The prices ranged from $2.75 to $7.20!!! Hard to Believe! Price: Sold on Auction.
